Well, that’s that, the project's officially finished. But let me tell you, it was a nightmare anything like what I expected. From the start/get-go/beginning, it was a disaster/nightmare/mess. The tradesman/contractor/plumber Checkatrade matched/assigned/sent me turned out to be a complete fraud/con artist/scammer. He pocketed/stole/disappeared with my deposit/money/funds, leaving behind a half-finished/incomplete/chaotic job. My bathroom/kitchen/garden is now in even worse shape than before, and I'm left stranded/high and dry/out of pocket.
To make matters worse/more frustrating/even more infuriating, Checkatrade's customer service/support team/helpline was useless/unhelpful/incompetent.
